The “Gigabit Voucher” is a programme that aims to subsidise households and small and medium-sized enterprises for the acquisition of ultra-high-speed broadband connections. Specifically, a subsidy of €200 per beneficiary is provided, covering part of the cost of acquiring a Gigabit service for 24 months.
Who is entitled to it?
The beneficiaries of the programme are all households and small and medium-sized enterprises that do not have a broadband connection with a download speed higher than 100 Mbps and are located in areas where the FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network is available. Excluding those who have already been subsidised under the Superfast Broadband Voucher programme.
