The National Theatre of Northern Greece, after eight consecutive years of cooperation with the internet service provider Metadosis renewed its sponsorship contract, highlighting reliability, technological innovation, and excellent customer service as key pillars of collaboration, enabling the Organization to produce and “transmit” its artistic and cultural work without obstacles.
With this initiative, the National Theatre of Northern Greece will become the first organization of its kind to provide broadband internet access to its audience.
With the new sponsorship contract with Metadosis, the National Theatre of Northern Greece gains a fresh approach to communication in all its cultural venues, such as the Society for Macedonian Studies building, the Vasiliko Theatre, the Dasos Theatre, the Moni Lazariston Theatre, the Gis Theatre, and the scenery workshops at N. Rhaidestos, through WiFi infrastructure, providing immediate accessibility to every visitor throughout the events, and in all waiting areas.
The President of the Board Mrs. Gianna Karymbali-Tsiptsiou, who co-signed the continuation of the productive collaboration with Metadosis, after thanking its representatives for their support, highlighted the company’s valuable contribution to both the organization and the citizens, who will be able to access the cultural products of the National Theatre of Northern Greece digitally in the future.
The Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Northern Greece, Asterios Peltekis , referring to the enhanced renewal of Metadosis’s cultural sponsorship, emphasized that “the two organizations TOGETHER are pioneers in providing broadband services in the cultural sector, offering viewers the possibility of immediate and high-quality connection to the online ‘world’ of the National Theatre of Northern Greece, laying the foundation for future broadcasting and digital viewing of its activities.”

Raidestou. With the recognition of this sponsorship as a cultural sponsorship by the Ministry of Culture, the importance of our contribution to the cultural sector is confirmed”, said the Minister of Culture. Metadosis CEO Nicolas Kanouras, while at the same time the company’s CFO Orpheus Kanouras explained that “in order for the NTNG to meet the new technological requirements and further enhance its footprint of technological excellence, we are extending our sponsorship with extensive interventions in all NTNG’s management points, with the aim of achieving 100% coverage for WiFi access. This implementation will serve both administrative functions and the entire audience at all performances henceforth, providing a superior and quality internet experience. With this action, the National Theatre of Northern Greece will become the first institution of its kind to provide broadband internet access to its audience and we are honoured to contribute to this.”
